Being the last one and sharing it's boundaries with the forest, cheetahs find this house as their easiest and immediate source to prey on (Domestic animals)
Though they have taken dogs twice , hens are what they usually prefer.
This particular cheetah who reached here the previous night, selected a chicken sitting on the well's ring . Upon attempting a haul at the chicken, both fell into the well.

Next morning , Jayanti , Ramayya's wife saw the cheetah in the well , surrounded by some floating feathers.

Sreedhar, the harmoniumist and Hareesh, playing the nadaswaram (a traditional classical Indian instrument), both refused to say the name of the person sitting to their right. He did not belong to the five member music team, and somehow, it seemed Sreedhar and Hareesh did not like their names being adjoined with his.

Earlier, pilgrims used cloth pieces for the task, which was later replaced by masks in the ongoing pandemic, given its easier use and cheaper availability.
